The spinning top is a simple origami model using 3 papers of the same size, that when are folded create a spinner that will work even if the folds are not perfect. You can incorporate the use of contrasting, analogous, or complementary colors in this lesson, as well as geometry, and shapes. This project has proven to be popular with all the classes I have taught it to, including ages 5 - 80 years old. You will not be disappointed.
