Melody Wolfe Thomas attended Virginia Tech and Radford University. She has a master’s degree in art education and holds a post-graduate professional license in Virginia (Art preK-12) and is certified in Massachusetts (Art preK-5 and Art 5-12) She has taught in public, private and museum settings. Most recently she has been involved in developing art programming with nature connections for Mass Audubon and is a faculty member of Mudflat Pottery School and the Arlington Center for the Arts. Melody originally found her way to clay by volunteering for an Empty Bowls project as a graduate student. She creates functional ceramics in her home studio in Arlington, MA.
